Privacy policy

At Codesign we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Colombian data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013).

2. Data we collect

Contact form. When you write to us through the form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the message you send us and the language you are browsing the site in.

WhatsApp contact. The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a conversation in the WhatsApp app. The data you share in that conversation (for example, your number and your messages) is used only to answer your inquiry, and is also subject to WhatsApp's (Meta's) privacy policy.

Spam protection. To verify that the form is submitted by a person and not an automated program we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical data from your browser and your IP address.

Technical data. Like any website, our servers may log technical data about each visit (IP address, browser type, date and time) for security and operational purposes.

Visit statistics and cookies. We count visits to the site anonymously and in-house: we store a random identifier in your browser (cookie cs_vid, 1 year) that lets us tell new visits from returning ones, and we record the page visited, device type, referring site and your approximate location (country and city, derived from your connection). We do not store your IP address or identify you personally. Individual events are deleted after 90 days and we only keep totals. In addition, only if you accept in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics, which sets its own Google cookies to measure site usage; you can decline them without affecting your experience.

We do not collect sensitive data or payment data: this site does not sell anything online.

3. How we use your data

• To answer your questions and requests about our technical services, products and accessories.
• To internally notify our team when a new message arrives, so we can reply quickly by WhatsApp, email or phone.
• To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it to send you advertising without your consent.

4. Who we share your data with

To run this site we use providers that process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Google (Firebase / Google Cloud): website hosting and storage of contact form messages.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business): sending our team the internal notification for each new message.
• Resend: sending our team an email copy of that notification.
• Cloudflare (Turnstile): spam protection on the contact form.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Colombia (for example, in the United States). By sending us your data you authorize that transfer, which we carry out with providers that offer adequate levels of protection.

We may also share data when required by a competent authority under applicable law.

5. Consent

By submitting the contact form or writing to us on WhatsApp you give us your prior, express and informed consent to process your data under this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 7).

6. Retention and security

We keep your data only for as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of our communications, or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration: access to messages is restricted to authorized staff.

7. Your rights

As the owner of your data you have the right to:

• Access, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the consent you gave us.
• Be informed about how we use it.
• Withdraw your consent and/or request deletion of your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
• Access your data free of charge.
• File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of data protection law.

To exercise them, email us at contacto@code-sign.com with your name, contact details and request. We will answer inquiries within ten (10) business days and complaints within fifteen (15) business days, as set out in Law 1581 of 2012.

8. Minors

This site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has sent us data, contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version will always be published on this page, with its last-updated date.
